Here are some of my top tips for enjoying your Peonies! Not mentioned in the video is probably my favorite…BLESS someone with a bouquet! . . . I am not an expert, but all of these tricks work for me. As with anything, do your research! 🌸

LET THERE BE LIGHT! This is a big, tall wall in our living room with high ceilings. I absolutely love my oversized gallery wall frames, but recently I was thinking, “How could I go even more vertical to fill this wall?” I am loving the result! These would look so cute over art, too! + Easy to install, like SUPER easy with no wiring! + Remote control with timer. + They resemble a heavy brass picture light for a fraction of the cost. + LED lights, but they have a warm option, so they don’t cast that harsh blue light, you know what I mean? A PRACTICAL TIP: At your next gathering, plan an activity! I loved this fun floral design activity from the Art of Hospitality Gathering. You can do this at home by gathering up some grocery store bunches. If you have a Trader Joe’s near you, they have the best flowers! You can even have guests bring cut flowers from their yard to share. Using simple jars, everyone takes a bit of a variety and comes up with their own beautiful arrangement to take home! EASTER BASKET TIPS: +Reuse the basket every year. +Reuse the grass every year. +Reuse the eggs every year. Think practical when filling the baskets. What do your children need this time of year? New jammies, a new beach towel, socks, hair care? Keep it simple friends!

Simple Easter Arrangement: + Gather sticks of all lengths and clip them to size. + Use a dab of hot glue to hold them together. + Use twine to tie around the intersection. This covers the clue! + I used my oversized dough bowl, but this can be adapted to any size basket, or bowl. + Layer filler. I used newspaper, floral, foam, and moss. + Tuck the crosses in using hot glue if needed. + I secured a bit of fabric to the center cross. This is an easy project, and great to do with kiddos. It provokes such wonderful conversation, and it is decor with deep meaning…my favorite combination!

EASTER TABLESCAPE || Why does it matter? + God delights when we celebrate His Son, His children, His creation. He is for CELEBRATION! It’s more than just a table. + Leveling up our tablescape sends a message to our family that something special is happening, and we want them to be a part of it. Who doesn’t want that? + I follow a simple formula for my tablescapes. They may change from season to season, but I always have: + A centerpiece & buffet focal point. Not too tall! + Place cards! Happiness cards! + I always, always light the candles! These are easy components you can add to your table as well! Most of all, as you prepare your heart and home, remember true hospitality is about the people around the table and the Savior we celebrate. He is RISEN! . . .
